Animal shelters across the US take in more than 6 million cats and dogs each year combined. Sadly, less than half of these will find a home. At the Logan County Humane Society, we envision a day when every pet born has a loving home and is free from neglect, abuse, ignorance, and neighborhoods safe from the dangers of irresponsible guardianship. The great news is, that with your help, we can make that dream a reality.
The Power of Advocacy.
The Logan County Humane Society is a 501 C3, limited admission facility. We are not affiliated with or funded by any national government or humane organizations and rely on the generosity of compassionate people like you wanting to make a difference to continue our lifesaving work within the community. LCHS is committed to finding loving homes for the many animals that pass through our facilities. Our highly successful adoption program includes a partnership with other area limited admission shelters with other services such as behavioral training to meet our pet population’s needs best.

Monetary donations fund lifesaving treatments, regular care, and spay or neuter surgery. For many pets, it is the first medical care they have received.
Donations also cover the cost or help in the care of animals throughout their journey from homelessness to adoption.
Through the help of generous partners, we increase adoptions by saving more animals and increasing the visibility of adoptable pets.

Those who are not interested in making a monetary donation online can also contribute directly to our organization. We welcome one-time gifts, memorial gifts, tribute gifts, annual gifts, and monthly support.
We appreciate the donation of goods useful in the care of our furry friends and have provided a full list of items below as well as our Amazon wish list. These items are used daily and are needed throughout the year. *Any items donated that cannot be used by LCHS will be placed in a pantry for the benefit of community use and access.
